The Miss Austin & Miss San Marcos Scholarship Pageant is a local preliminary to the Miss Texas  Scholarship Pageant, within the Miss America Opportunity.  The pageant is produced and directed by The South Texas Educational Scholarship Fund, a 501c3 nonprofit, and is a licensee of the Miss Texas & Miss America Programs.
